The Five Peaks 2011 is a charity event that will raise money for prostate cancer research. Steven Gregg and Tim Collins will run the highest peak in each country of the British Isles on five consecutive days in late May and early June 2011. The total height of these peaks is 5,294 metres (17,386 feet), which is higher than Mont Blanc, the tallest peak in Europe.
This extremely demanding physical challenge will raise money to fight against prostate cancer, the most common male cancer in the United Kingdom. The total distance that will be run is roughly 60km (37miles), and will involve almost 900 miles of travelling.
This unique challenge needs your help to be a success. Please give generously to help in the fight against prostate cancer.
